7 ways to start your day off right

Just like any morning, I hit the snooze button on my alarm, planning to wait just 10 more minutes before waking up. I wait, hear the snooze button again, and panic sets in — I am going to be late. I jump out of bed and into the shower, throw my clothes on, grab some coffee grinds, dump them into a cup and throw them into the microwave. I run out of the house with a burn on my hand, heading to work.

That used to be my typical morning, and for thousands of others that is the normal start to their day. I realized that in order to change my attitude and change my life, I needed to change the way I got up in the morning. The morning is the most important part of the day. The way you treat it, and the way you set it up are very important in determining if the day is going to be a good one or a bad one.

Imagine having more energy, a better attitude, more efficiency and clearer thoughts. Here are a few things I do every morning that have changed my life:
